CTE Programs
A-Tech High School is a premier CTE school located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. We offer the full academic suite of courses, as well as four career pathways: *NYS-certified programs in: the Academy of Automotive Technology; Academy of Digital Arts & Media; Academy of Software Engineering; & Academy of Business & Entrepreneurship. A-Tech is a caring, student-centered community that focuses on nurturing all aspects of student development.
*Academy of Automotive Technology
The Automotive Technology state-certified program provides students with an entry-level background in the skills and knowledge needed for a post-secondary career in the automotive field. Students will receive hands-on training using state-of-the-art technology. Highly Skilled Auto mechanics are needed to work on today’s modern vehicles. Our students graduate college & careers ready equipped to fill the existing supply gap due to the current labor shortage. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has reported that the automotive industry will need about 46,000 more technicians nationwide by 2026.

Academy of Business and Entrepreneurship
The Business & Entrepreneurship Academy teaches students how to prepare and execute a comprehensive strategy for launching a new venture. The best way to understand the entrepreneurial process is to take a hands-on, experiential approach. In this major, students will interact extensively with the business community both inside and outside the classroom and produce a plan that is both defensible to potential investors and actionable in the real world.

We're proud to offer paid internship opportunities to students in our Business and Entrepreneurship program. Program Overview
*Academy of Digital Arts & Media
The Digital Arts & Media state certified program focuses on graphic design and photography. Students in this program work in a Mac computer lab to help their creations come to life. Both Graphic Design and Photography enable the students to pursue a very wide variety of art interests when they get to college. Possible career paths include, but are not limited to: graphic design, film, fashion, web design, architecture or product design. Creativity is boundless!

Features
At the end of 11th grade, students take the Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) Exam in Photoshop. Advanced students have the opportunity to sit for additional exams such as the Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) Exam in Illustrator and/or InDesign. We have pending articulation agreements with New York City College of Technology and NYIT. Paid internship placements with industry partners are available to students.
Academy of Software Engineering
The Software Engineering program incorporates the processes of Computer Science Technology. This program involves problem-solving & creative thinking. The opportunities in this field are constantly expanding, with gaming & app development evolving into a robust industry. Students will learn the basic coding skills needed to pursue a host of post-secondary options in this field. Students have the benefit of computer science professionals in their classrooms through our partnership with the TEALS organization.
